![]() I never used to like positive film (mainly on GR1) until it started to click with me. Astia is quite yellow if i recall, just completely different. Negative film has some desaturated colors like yellow and blue from what i can tell and some color shifts obviously. I tried the positive profile as well, and that one is quite good but it struggles from what I used to call the 'Classic Chrome Effect' back in my Fujifilm days: I find it looks great initially but gets tiring and problematic after a point. I struggle to replicate a more saturated look with the negative profile on raw that doesn't end up looking too saturated and thus not to my liking. I was using this on my raw files since the start of the year. When it comes to colour I think my favourite profile to start with remains the Astia digital film sim from Fuji cameras. As is, I'm afraid I'm back to square one. I've now managed to spend a couple of hours on some comparisons. Better than my attempt to replicate positive film. See the other thread on this forum on where to install and find them. Yes in dxo with the adobe camera raw negative film color profile (dcp). What so you mean by dxo with adobe dcp? These were processed in PhotoLab? ![]()
